The "Cats", who next October 3 will appear for first time in Santiago from Chile, its rows to a Chilean artist, who eventually might replace Christopher Sidoli, one of the actors that leads the montage.

The company possesses professionals qualified for the replacement of the artists before a contingency and whom suple to Christopher Sidoli is the Chilean Rodrigo Cruz. The musical show that one will present in Santiago is the same that made premiere in Broadway in 1981, with the suits and original makeups that put on in the epoch. Sidoli explained that, to achieve a feline appearance, the actors need of 30 minutes for make-up, which is a " the whole challenge ". The musical one has been presented in more than 20 countries and translated into 10 languages, since it goes approximately 20 years in billboard. The montage is based on 14 poems of the book " Old Possum's Practical Book of Cats ", of the North American poet T.S Eliot and it is a creation of the Britisher Andrew Lloyd Webber.
